View from the Raiders bench

RAIDERS coach Dave Clark pointed to too many mistakes and a failure to live up to their potential as the reasons the Raiders left Toulouse without a victory.
He said: “I think in the first half especially we gave away too many penalties defensively, allowed them to have good field position and put some good attacking plays on us.
“When you do that, defensively you fatigue a lot, but that’s not to say that we ran out of fitness because I think the fitness carried through the whole game.
“I think in the first half we gave them too much possession from our mistakes and they penalised us. In the second half I don’t think we got out of our half, we were trapped inside our half for the whole game.
“I was confident that if the boys got close to their line then we would score and I thought Ned Catic had scored in the corner, but the linesman made the call and I thought the referee had a shocker. The linesman called it a double movement, that he put the ball down and then carried it over.”
