Ulverston Ghyll Singers

Choir and guest performers

The  Ghyll Singers Choir is a ladies only Choir in Ulverston.  Conducted by Stella McKeever, the Choir sings songs from Musicals, Folk Songs, and popular music.  A  CD is available from any member

The Choir meet every Tuesday evening in the Parish Centre, Church Walk, Ulverston at 7.15p.m. - 9.0p.m.

We welcome new members.  Any Ladies who are interested in joining can contact Judy Redhead (Chairwoman) on 01229 588684 for information.

The Ghyll Singers Choir are available for Concerts, Private Parties and Weddings.  Please call Judy to place a Booking or obtain further details.

Choir Diary

 The Ulverston Ghyll Singers Ladies Choir have a very busy couple of months ahead. Tuesday sees the start of their concerts at the Coronation Hall, singing for the Ulverston Ladies Guild. This concert starts at 2.30pm. in the main hall. On Friday 21st May the choir will be singing at the Tottlebank Babtist Church. This is an evening concert begining at 7.30p.m. On Thursday 27th May the Ladies are singing for the retired Glaxo staff at the Glaxo club in Ulverston, another afternoon concert begining at 2p.m. Wednesday the 9th June the choir are singing at the Grange United Reformed Church begining at 8.15p.m. and on Monday 14th June The Ulverston Methodist Church is the venue for an afternoon concert. This begins at 2.30p.m. The choir will be singing for the Croftlands Wednesday Club on Wednesday 16th June at 2.00pm. On Saturday 3rd July the choir will hold their annual Coffee Morning in the Supper Room of the Coronation Hall and all will be made very welcome.
