Police name man who died in Ulverston

POLICE have named the man who died in Ulverston.
Anthony Christopher Preston, 38, of County Square, was found lying in the road on New Market Street, Ulverston at around 5am on Tuesday.
Police and paramedics attended but he was later pronounced dead at Furness General Hospital.
The road was closed while officers examined the scene and gathered evidence.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious at this stage however enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death on behalf of the coroner.
Officer are appealing for anyone who may have information about Mr Preston’s death or his whereabouts on Tuesday morning to contact Barrow CID on 0845 330 0247.
