Film & Quiz Night

Thursday 18 March 7pm

Jim Bownass from Crossthwaite will be giving a talk and showing a film on the history of Barrow and district.  This will be followed by an aerial Cumbria quiz.  Refreshments will be availble and the bar will be open.  Admission is £1.50 with 50p going to Cancer Research.

Coffee & Chat Easter Eggstra

Friday 26 March 11 til 2

Extra events this month are an Easter bonnet parade, make your bonnet and come along and show it in our parade.  There is a prize for the best bonnet, all ages welcome.  There will be a raffle and a tombola as well as coffee and Easter refreshments.  The cake stall this month will be supporting Shelter, the homeless charity, so please bring along some cakes for us to sell.

Auction

Wednesday 21 April from 7pm

Lots of good quality donated items will be sold off to the highest bidder.  Doors open at 7pm for viewing and the auction starts at 7.30.  If you have anything you would like to sell, we will do this for you on the night with a 10% commission.  If your item is too large to bring then please bring a photo.  We will also auction services if you would like to donate say an hour of gardening or a week's dog walking, and welcome any good quality donations.
