‘I love Ulverston because...’ Councillor James Airey
Last updated at 12:00, Friday, 21 September 2012
COUNCILLOR James Airey, a member of Cumbria County Council for Ulverston West, said the people of the town help to create a unique atmosphere.
He said: “I think my favourite thing about the town is the people and sense of community. Everybody is really friendly and ready for a chat and it is a great place to live and work.
“It has a unique feel as a town. It has managed to keep that special status as a market town. You always see lots of friends and colleagues in the town to chat to and it has a real friendly buzz to it.”
