Bikes stolen from Ulverston home

POLICE have appealed for information after three bikes were stolen in Ulverston.

The three pedal cycles – one lady’s and two boys’ BMX bikes, were taken from the entrance to Trinity Court in New Church Lane, Ulverston, between 8am and 3.30pm on Tuesday.

The bikes were locked but police believe the offender(s) burnt the combination lock off in order to steal them.

The lady’s bike is a red cycle with a curved frame and a space for a basket.

The BMX bikes have black frames.

The total value for all three is estimated at £400.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Shaun Conway at Ulverston police on 0845 33 00 247 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
