Here's another fantastic poem from a clubber...
Dear God I love the world just as I, I was walking down a street all alone thinking of home. by Hannah Woodburn School Walk Lily my sister I hear a crackle and a crunch I hope thats not Lily eating my lunch. The leaves are falling better get home quick But Lily has tripped. School has finished and im tired But Lily's always there she even got my dad fired. Lily likes teddies that will calm her down But she is just running round and round. Finally she goes to bed but this is not the end. She bangs her head and wakes dad but at least im not that bad This poem is from Jodie Wilson, 9. Thanks Jodie!.
love you, I Love the scent of the roses,
When the start are shining I no your by my side,
When the sun is shining I no you have awoke,
When it is raining i no you are crying,
when theres a rainbow in the sky i no your full of joy.
By Hannah Broadhead
I started to run because I was scared,
I knew in 10 minutes I'd by cosy and warm
maybe in bed. I walked through the park for a short cut for home
all around me I heard crackling of branches I felt even more alone,
I was worried
furthermore I ran as fast as I could, and before I knew it I saw my familiar front
door,
I was home sweet home!!!
A five minute walk round the block and down St. louis street, running away from the bullies,
Staring at my feet.
Dodging round the pensioners, trying to catch the bell, but when I get into the class, my teacher's late as well!
I ran straight over to my desk, trying to look all cool,
But then I slipped and went all red, so I looked a bigger fool!!
